How do I set up a DoDMWRLibraries.org account?

Click the Login button at the top right of the window. You will be prompted for your DOD ID number (found on your ID card) and your birthdate. If these do not appear in our system, you may be prompted for the last four digits of your SSN. This data is used to authenticate you but will not be retained.

How do I locate my DoD ID number?

On a CAC, it is located above the barcode on the back of the card. On a retiree/reserve/dependent ID, it is located on the front of the card, on the right hand side. Some older ID cards may still show the holder's SSN instead; if that is the case for your card, proceed to the next question.

How do I sign in if I don't my know DOD ID Number?

If you do not remember or cannot access your DOD ID number, put in your birthdate, then enter 0000000000 for DOD ID to skip to the SSN prompt.

How do I report website issues?

Once the site is no longer under construction, please use the "Contact Us" page. If you are here before that date, this site is still in test mode, and most features are not yet enabled.

In order to get this site up on time, we will not answer any help requests while we are still in an "Under Construction" status.

How do I sign in to a Mango or OverDrive account that I have already used?

When you first sign in, you will see a window with eResource logos and textboxes. Enter the username for your existing OverDrive/Mango/etc. account in the matching textbox. If you do not have an account with an eResource, leave the textbox blank. If you miss the window, you can do the same thing in the My Account menu by clicking the "Manage" button in the "eResource Connections" section.

Once you have saved your usernames, use either the category menus or the Digital Collections menu to follow the links to the eResource websites.

How do I find my nearest base library?

Open the Locations menu and pick a military branch to search for nearby libraries. Your nearest library may not correspond to your branch of the military, but this does not mean that you are not eligible.
